Manually registering the OpenText RightFax DLL

Problem

When attempting to use The RighFax process, you may encounter the following error:

Error

Module C:\Program Files (x86)\PSIGEN\Capture\Libraries\OpenText RightFax\rfcomapi.dll Failed to register HRESULT - 2147024770.

Solution

If this occurs, the RightFax DLL will need to be manually registered.

  1. Open CMD as admin
  2. Enter: "regsvr32 C:\Program Files (x86)\PSIGEN\Capture\Libraries\OpenText RightFax\rfcomapi.dll"
  3. Click Enter to register
