Laserfiche Direct Migration Fails with Invalid Object Name

Problem

If you are attempting to migrate to LaserFiche Direct, you may receive the following error:

Error

Migration: LaserFiche Direct
Error: Invalid object name.
System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0xC004233B): Invalid object name.
at LFSO80Lib.ILFDocument.Create(String Name, Object ParentFolder, Object Volume, Boolean AutoRename)

Solution

If this occurs, double check the batch to make sure that all index fields have populated data. In this scenario, the doctype was configured to use custom folder naming based on index values. Two values were missing, so the folder naming couldn't create properly because of the missing data.
