Auto Import Options

Minimum Time Between Sessions (in Minutes)

The default is set to 0 minutes but is actually about 30 seconds.

Minimum Age of Imported Files

User can set Auto Import to begin import of new content in the monitored folder immediately, after a specified number of days, or on a calendar date.

Max Imported Files Per Batch

In the event that the monitored folder(s) contain a large number of files, the user can set a limit on the number of files imported per batch. Auto Import process will then continue with the creation of a new batch.

Max Imported Pages Per Batch

Similar to “Max Imported Files Per Batch”, a new batch will be created when a predetermined number of pages have been reached.

Auto Import File Sorting Method

This determines the order by which file/folder is imported. The files/folders contained in the monitored directory will be sorted first according to Create Date, Modified Date, and File Name.

Monitor Subdirectories

Selecting this option will allow the system to monitor all subdirectories which fall under the monitored directories.

Subdirectories Only

PSI:Capture will only import the content of subdirectories/child folder and ignore all other files in the monitored directory.

Batch Per Subdirectory

A new batch will be created for each subdirectory regardless of file or page count.

Use Directory Name as Batch Name

Will create a batch named exactly as the folder name.

Enable Session Tokens

Greater control can be achieved through the use of Session Tokens.

Edit Script

This button opens the script editor interface for Auto Import file set filtering. For more information about scripting please see the scripting section of this manual. The PSI:Capture scripting engine uses C# and knowledge of that programming language is required.
