Batch Import Configuration
The following data sources are supported:
- XML Batch import
- Prosar-AIDA Batch Import
- Native Batch Import
- FormStorm Batch Import
- DocSTAR Batch Import
XML Batch Import
General
Import Location
The Storage Location specifies the directory that Import file will be written to when outputting from other systems. It is recommended that a different Storage Location be used for each Document Type.
Specify an Import/Storage Location by selecting one from the drop down list or by selection “New”. NOTE: Storage Locations can also be defined in the “Storage” tab on the Main Configuration Dialog as covered in the System Configuration Storage section of this manual.
New
A new Storage Location can be defined by pressing the ‘New’ button, which will open the Storage Location Definition dialog below. When the new Storage Location is saved, it will be added to the list of Storage Locations and will be automatically selected for the user.
Transform
Select Clear or Load to process an XSL Transform file.
Field Mapping
Select the Source Field to match to the Target Field.
Prosar-AIDA Batch Import
Imports batch data from Paradatec Proser-AIDA
General

Imports batch data from the applications native batch format. NOTE: This format does not support Auto Import.

FormStorm
Enter the FormStorm Client Installation Directory.
Click Connect to test connection.
Select the desired FormStorm System once a connection is established.
Select Map Fields and map the appropriate fields.
Enter the Server Name / IP Address.
DocSTAR Batch Import
Imports batch data from DocSTAR.
SQL Server
Select connection information for the desired SQL server
Use Trusted Connection
Checking this box eliminates the need to enter User ID or Password within a secure network or intranet.
Enter the User ID/Password.
Select Database name.
Click Connect to test connection.
Import Settings
Field Mapping
Select the Source Field to match to the Target Field.
